The Kia Venga has won its second prize in the B Segment car market since its launch, by taking home the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Held by the Design Centre of North Rhine-Westphalia since 1955, the Red Dot Product Design award is recognised as a worldwide seal of quality that the Kia Venga now wears proudly.
The Red Dot Product Design award is the second to be added to the Kia Venga’s trophy cabinet along with the iF Product Award already received for its outstanding design and design strategy.
Entrants to the Red Dot design competition spanned through 57 countries resulting in a total of 4,252 product entrants who were each marked by the jury on innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, ecological compatibility and intuitive handling.
With the Venga coming out tops in the B-segment MPV motoring market, in recognition of its balanced architecture, spacious interior and dynamic silhouette, the otherwise practical multipurpose vehicle now offers motorists a blend of style and utility.
The Kia Venga has been designed with the European market in mind and is available as a petrol or diesel. An eco-friendly Venga is also available equipped with an ISG start/stop system, a carbon emission level of 117 grams per kilometre and fuel consumption of just 4.5 litres per 100 kilometres. With a seven-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty (European Markets) and a boot capacity of 1.341 litres, the Kia Venga is an MPV that people now want to be seen in.
