The new KIA Cerato has been re-created from the ground up focussing on continuous innovative styling, enhanced driving pleasure and the implementation of new technology and value. The Cerato embodies KIA’s new design philosophy underpinned by quality and reliability and enters the market offering an elite choice of models to select from.
The KIA Cerato is available in a choice of a Theta II 2.0-litre DOHC four-cylinder petrol engine or a Gamma 1.6-litre engine DOHC four-cylinder petrol option. Alternatively the Cerato also offers a Koup option, a first for KIA, entering the market fitted with a Theta II 2.0 litre DOHC four cylinder engine.
The new KIA Cerato DNA applied to the exterior design of each model option, offers stylish dynamism and balanced proportions. With bold frontal styling, accentuated curves and lines that follow throughout the body work. The interior of the Cerato results in a distinctive high tech and stylish layout, offering ergonomically placed instrument controls and features that inspire true driving passion.
The Cerato is the epitome of performance innovation, reliability and durability with integrated passive and active passenger safety features that include impact resistant crumple zones, reinforced doors, six airbags (driver and front passenger airbags, two side airbags and two full length curtain airbags), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
