Surprisingly generous interior dimensions result in spacious head- and legroom. One thing that won't surprise you is our emphasis on safety. The 1.6 Rio offers passive safety in the form of six airbags for protection in a serious collision. In addition to the front airbags, there's side and curtain airbags. The front seat belts also feature pretensioners and load limiters to reduce strain during impact. A state-of-the-art body shell with crumple zones is another feature that actively protects the occupants of a Rio.
